Vinton and Michele Stanfield consider themselves fortunate to have traveled 'throughout the world' for years. They relished those opportunities that allowed them to live in many foreign countries, took pleasure in experiencing the different cultures, learned a variety of languages, and continue to enjoy associations with their international friends. After retirement, they lived on their 'blue water' sailboat for over ten years traveling to many interesting ports.  Love of family (especially their now 24 grandchildren) brought them back to Texas.

Michele, also worked overseas (Bermuda, Turkey and Italy) and Stateside; now invests time in gardening, designing dried-flower cards, crafting and spending time with grandchildren.

Artifacts from their sailing adventures or treasures from overseas abound throughout Liberty Hill B&B, located in Liberty Hill, TX, one of the gateways to the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
